Philip Higgins married Phoebe Lewis, daughter of Nathaniel Lewis and Anna Gains, on 26 March 1747 at Truro. Philip is said to have moved to Hardwick, but no evidence is found there. He is further said to have had a son David born in Nova Scotia in 1778, but this would appear to more likely to be a son of Philip6 (son of Jonathan5 #99). No ch. were found for Philip and Phoebe.
